We're glad you've expressed interest in using the Reading and Northern Railroad for your freight transportationn needs. Our transportation marketing team looks forward to working with you. Communication Is The Key To Our Mutual Success Initially, here are a few items for you to consider: 1. Do you have a rail spur or siding? Does the receiver you wish to ship to have a spur or siding? If you're not sure, we may be able to locate a loading/unloading spot. 2. How much money will it cost me to ship/receive by rail? Our marketing department is responsible for furnishing you with that information. However, there is important information we need from you to formulate your freight rate. You supply us with the information we need by completing the Potential Customer Questionnaire (or click here for a high quality version in Adobe Acrobat PDF format). All information on the form is needed to properly process your rate. Kindly print this form and fax it to us. Once received, our marketing team will formulate a rate and contact you with a rail rate from origin to destination. 3. If the freight rate is agreeable to you, the next step involves signing a transportation contract. After the transportation contract is processed and certain other requirements are met, we will begin moving your traffic. Feel free to call us at 610-562-2100 and ask for the marketing department if you have any questions. Please select from the following traffic forms used when doing business with us, and then select the "Back" button in your web browser to return to this page after printing. (Note: Next to each title is an "Acrobat PDF" link for users with the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, yielding improved formatting of forms and related documents. The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is available for free download at: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/)
