R&N Serves D.G. Yuengling in Port Carbon, PA

Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad Co. is pleased to announce the start-up of rail service to the new D.G. Yuengling Brewery in Port Carbon, PA.

This project has taken many years and hundreds of thousands of dollars to complete. The project was paid for by Dick Yuengling with the assistance of a capital budget grant procured by state Representative Bob Allen. Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad managed the project, which was done by Railworks, Inc.

This project could not have been completed without the help of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, PennDOT, Senator James Rhoades, Representative Dave Argall, Representative Bob Allen, and Frank Zukas of SEDCO.
