Anthracite Coal and Marcellus Shale gas booms, we have a backlog of
projects. All applicants should expect and plan for a 60 to 90 day
review time. Should you wish to have your project be reviewed and
processed in 14 days or less, please submit your initial project
request form marked URGENT at the top of the page along with a
check for $3,750 of which $750 is non-refundable. Please understand
that many times, we receive very complex project requests, which
cannot be reviewed within 14 days. Should your project be determined
to be ineligible for URGENT handling, you will be refunded the
$3,000 and notified that an expedited review cannot occur on your
submission. PROJECT REQUEST FORM In order for your project to be considered, the
Project Request Form
must be completely filled out and submitted. The Railroad reserves
the right to reject any request for lack of detailed explanation. CONTENTS
Important Notice to all persons who desire access to
Railroad property. A Cash Deposit will be required from all contractors PRIOR to
entering Railroad property. THREE complete copies of construction plans accompanied with payment of $1,600.00 for project review and a fully completed Projected Scope Of Work form must be submitted for each project. Failure to include this form will automatically result in rejection of the request. Plans submitted without payment will not be reviewed.
This is a summary of how each construction project will be handled. Failure to follow procedure will result in delay or possible rejection of the project. It is essential that ALL contractors and sub-contractors are aware of and are given copies of our requirements as stated in the RB6 (General Requirements for working on Railroad Property), and as applicable, RB4(Wire Installations) and/or RB8 (Pipe and Conduit Installations) in the bid package for any project. These specifications can be downloaded from our website. Attached plates do not appear on the website but are available upon written request.
The following requirements are in ADDITION to the entry requirements:
All requests for valuation maps must be submitted in writing. Maps will be copied and supplied to requestor within two weeks from receipt of form and payment. In the event the map sheet requested is not available, payment check will be returned. Real Estate Department These standard agreements are posted for REVIEW ONLY. Please know that the agreement templates you see on our website are our standard agreements. We have executed hundreds of these agreements over the last 20 years without any alterations to the language contained in them. Only on extremely rare cases have we agreed to change the language of our agreements, of which changes were minimal. Should you, your company, or your counsel desire any alterations to an agreement, there will be a $200 per hour review fee with a minimum of three hours that must be paid prior to our review. The payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee in any way that the revisions will be agreed to.
